Meet The Team

Director
Diane Cassidy
Diane Cassidy is a Santa Barbara native, real estate professional, and longtime community advocate with decades of experience in leadership, project management, fundraising, and service. Her heart for children in foster care has guided her work throughout the years, including co-founding two Ventura County summer camps that have served hundreds of foster youth for more than 25 years.
Diane has also faithfully served through Good News Club, CASA of San Luis Obispo County, prison ministry, and foster care awareness initiatives. Her faithfulness and perseverance in launching Royal Family Kids Camp in San Luis Obispo County ultimately led her to Legacy Church. When you meet Diane, you immediately sense her passion and deep love for serving children. Our team is incredibly grateful for her leadership and excited to help bring her vision to life.

Director
Carla Emanuelson
When Carla first heard the Royal Family KIDS Camp presentation, her heart was stirred so deeply that she told her husband they simply couldn’t not be involved. With a genuine love for children, Carla has faithfully volunteered with Good News Club for several years and believes that experience has beautifully prepared her to support children impacted by foster care.
Carla joined the Royal Family KIDS Camp leadership team as a Camp Director, bringing incredible passion, leadership, and heart. Her dedication and commitment inspire everyone around her, and she knows this camp will be a life-changing experience for the children who attend.

Director
Tiffany Riojas
As a former foster parent, Tiffany understands firsthand how meaningful Royal Family Kids Camp will be for children in foster care and for the families who support them. She currently co-manages Legacy Church’s Fostering Together ministry alongside Kristen Kruse, where she advocates for and supports this vulnerable community.
With a strong passion for speaking up and serving others, Tiffany felt called to be part of Royal Family Kids Camp and joined the team as a Camp Director. She is eager to serve the children, families, and volunteers involved and is honored to be part of a mission that brings hope, healing, and joy.

Dean of Women
Kristin Feavel
After retiring from a career as a sales director that involved extensive travel, Kristin began seeking a meaningful way to serve her community. With years of experience as a cheer coach, church youth leader, and camp volunteer, she understands the lasting impact that a camp experience can have on both children and leaders.
Royal Family Kids Camp is a perfect fit for Kristin’s heart and gifting. She is excited to serve the children and camp staff in both big and small ways, bringing fun energy, encouragement, and dedication. Kristin also plays an active role in fundraising efforts, community engagement, and supporting the overall success of the team.

Dean of Men
Chad Langford
With a heart for missions, Chad views Royal Family Kids Camp as a powerful local mission and was eager to join the leadership team. He brings strong strategic and organizational skills that help turn vision into action, assisting in the planning and execution of camp operations.
Chad is passionate about leading and supporting the men who volunteer at camp and believes every child deserves to feel deeply loved. He knows God has equipped him to serve others and put systems in place that can positively impact lives for generations. We are so grateful to have Chad on our leadership team.

Camp Connector
Deena Pangborn
Deena has had a passion for children for as long as she can remember. While she was not formally a foster parent, caring for others has always come naturally to her, and she ultimately helped raise several children. Her heart and home have consistently been open to those in need.
After volunteering with the Quota Club for many years, Deena was invited to join the Royal Family Kids Camp leadership team as their chapter was closing. This role is a perfect fit, as she is deeply connected within the community and ministry opportunities. Deena is highly skilled at building relationships and supports camp by pursuing grants, connecting with local businesses, and helping identify the right volunteers to serve.
